Askennonia Book Club
The Bookworms Book Club is looking for new members to join them on Thursday afternoons. It's a fun social time to discuss and share with others the books you have read or are currently reading. The group meets at 12:15 pm on the first and third Thursday of each month. They bring a "brown bag lunch", make a pot of tea and have a lively discussion. For more information feel free to call Lois Williamson (pictured) @ 526-5238.

St. Patrick's Day 2009 Celebration was Grand!
Our St. Patrick's Day Party was held on Tues. March 17th and was a great success with almost 200 guests in attendance. Everyone enjoyed our very own Askennonia Cloggers and Linedancers, but the highlight of the day was the very talented Megan Kitchen, age 13, who entertained the crowd by singing, playing the fiddle and dancing.
Thank you to all the volunteers for your help in making our party a great event.
