Not only does Midland have wonderful entertainers but artisans as well. Beautiful woodcarvings and paintings were displayed by some of our talented instructors and members.

What talent we have in Midland. An excellent event showcasing a wide range of talent enjoyed by the almost 400 people in attendance. In the solo category, Glenda Knight-Howell took first place, in the other category, Priscilla Galloway won with a dramatic recitation and our Askennonia Choir "Just Attitude" took first place in the group category.

Askennonia Senior Centre and Midland’s Winterfest were pleased introduce Cindy Thompson on stage to celebrate Midland’s 25th Winterfest on Saturday, February 6.
Cindy’s electrifying performances have earned her a reputation as one of Canada’s premiere combination fiddle player/stepdancers.
