Let's Write is a program offered by retired English teacher, John Philips. A good group gets together on Monday afternoons to receive inspiration for writing and then they share their stories.

AN APARTMENT WITH CONVENIENCES

One nice Spring morning I felt like taking the lawn furniture out of the shed and putting it on the patio. The sky was blue, the sun was
shinning and winter was finally over.

Tickets are now available for Toronto Blue Jays vs Boston Red Sox on Thurs. Aug 12th. Bus departs NSSRC at 9am and returns approx 7pm. Excellent seats in the shade off 3rd base. $85.00 pp which can be purchased at the membership desk. On your own for lunch. A fantastic way to enjoy a summer day!

Askennonia's Tiffin Pier Tower Tour was a great event when attendees were invited to take a guided tour of private and model suites and the spa area either before or after they enjoyed a delicious lunch. Musicians, art exhibitions/sales, tastings, free mini manicures and eybrow waxings added value to the overal experience. Tiffin Pier, 699 Aberdeen Blvd, Midland is one of the first highrise luxury condominiums in North Simoce It was a great place to get decorating ideas amd see how two identical designs can take on a whole different personality thanks to decorating.

Thank you to the Tai Chi Group for hosting our Fashion Show, Patricia for suppling and organizing all the beautiful fashions, the models for struting their stuff and The Villa and Bayfield House Retirement Lodges for sponsoring the event. Everyone enjoyed music provided by "Just Attitude" as they prepare for the music festival. Thank you to Mariette Gratton for playing the piano during the fashion show. It all made for a very successful afternoon.
