VITAMIN D3 - ARE WE GETTING ENOUGH?

Discussion about the benefits of Vitamin D3 is on the rise. It is well-known as a crucial factor in calcium absorption (increasing it by 30 to 80 percent), so we know that vitamin D is critical to good bone health. The thinking around Vitamin D3 has changed dramatically over the past several years.1 There are now studies that are linking low levels of vitamin D with other health issues (cancers, autoimmune diseases and cardiovascular disease.)

TRY PICKLE BALL OVER THE SUMMER

During June, July and August guest are welcome to try one month of pickle ball without a membership. That way, they can determine
whether they enjoy one of the fastest growing court sports in North America prior to joining.
Tuesdays 9:30—11:30 in Gym
$3/wk pd monthly prior to first session of month.
Pickle Ball is popular with those who are 55+ in the southern states. This fun activity combines badminton, ping pong and tennis. See the volunteer on the Membership desk to sign up.
