Inaugural Screenings of Oral History of Huronia

On May 31, 160 interested patrons attended the inaugural screening of the first two "Oral History of Huronia" videos. To see a short account of the day, click on http://youtu.be/GAPQfQlolQs . Thanks to John Faragher's Midland Secondary School Grade 10 Canadian History students, the Huronia Museum and Askennonia volunteers the whole day was a great success. Special thanks to Lydia Ehmcke and Marie Jessup, who accepted invitations to be the first participants in this important project that is sponsored by New Horizons for Seniors and Rotary Club of Midland. Watch local papers for more screenings in the Fall of 2011 and contact us if you or someone you know would like to participate.
