Explore the Beauty of Wye Marsh!

Join us for guided walks at Wye Marsh on the second Thursday of each month! These walks are a wonderful way to connect with nature, stay active, and enjoy the stunning surroundings of this local treasure.

  • Details:

    • Schedule: Once a month, on the second Thursday.

    • Leaders: Anthony will guide 7 of the 12 walks, with the remaining 5 led by a knowledgeable volunteer from Wye Marsh.

    • Sign-Up: Please sign up at the front desk each month so we can contact you if the weather forces us to cancel.

    • NOTE: If we still have lots of snow on walk day, it may become a snowshoeing outing.  Snowshoes can be rented at the Wye Marsh or 'borrowed' from the Midland Public Library.  The trails at Wye Marsh are not groomed for walking and can become quite tricky to manoeuvre. Anthony would take you on a short snowshoeing hike.

  • Important Notes:

    • Dress appropriately for the weather to ensure your comfort during the walk.

    • Check our Facebook page on the day of the walk for updates or cancellations due to weather.

We look forward to seeing you there and enjoying the great outdoors together!
